When we hear that religious deceivers, as described here in II Peter, “find success in excess,” does that seem like an issue we are facing today? Today on the Sanctified by Truth broadcast, we will be dealing with more of what Peter warned would be characteristics of those he called “false teachers”. We not only want to beware of such, but in light of the warnings directed at these types of individuals, we don’t want to be one of them! We are told that they will bring upon themselves “swift destruction”. How can this be since it seems like so many false teachers seem to be doing quite well and even claim they are being blessed by God Himself.
