It seems, in our day, that we’ve come up with so many self-defined virtues that we are resistant to what the values that are not our own, even those from the Bible. Today, on the Sanctified by Truth broadcast we’ll be addressing this challenge in light of the list of qualities Peter begins his second epistle. The term “godliness” as used in Scripture is not a subjective term open to every and all interpretations. The term means something and it is to be our goal to know what it truly means to be Godly by coming to know God as He reveals Himself in His Word. We’re beginning today where we left off last time dealing with endurance under pressure. Interestingly, God quite often will use endurance as one of His means to work in us true Godliness.
