The envy of the world has been an ongoing challenge throughout the centuries in the Church. Today on the Sanctified by Truth broadcast we’re looking to take this challenge head-on. The answer to this, though, doesn’t lie in trying to compete with secular society by the accepted norms of society but by offering up continual facts about what we actually have in Christ. Far too often we as Christians fail to search the Scriptures and discover what we actually have. The more we do so the less appealing and alluring the world becomes. This has been part of God’s design all along. God hasn’t changed but we need to. This all begins as we start to deal with one of the most popular texts in Scripture in II Peter chapter 1.
