When we hear that phrase quoted, does it sink in that Jesus Christ is not only Savior, but also our great God and savior. Today on the Sanctified by Truth broadcast we’re finishing up a three part series on the deity of Jesus Christ. If you’ve listened to the previous two broadcasts it should be obvious that Scripture is quite clear that Jesus Christ was more than just a special man created by God. He was and is God. As will be mentioned in this broadcast today, this places even greater significance to what went into saving us and why our confidence, our assurance should be unwavering. It was “God in Christ reconciling the world to Himself”. We’re about to pick-up with one of the most dramatic references to Christ that was uttered regarding Christ in the New Testament. Dramatic because it was taken from a very special account described in Exodus and clearly demonstrates that the Apostle John was stressing the deity of Christ.
