Many are drawn into the various deceits of the false teachers Peter deals with in II Peter 2 by promising to provide solutions to their issues, addictions and other pressures of life. Today, on the Sanctified By Truth broadcast we’re covering the last part of II Peter two, addressing the warnings about those professing to be Christian teachers but who are, in reality, slaves to sin themselves. They lure others in with proposed quick and easy solutions that cater to laziness, pride and other forms of vanity and offer no true, lasting help. Not only do we want to beware of such and their influences, but we must evaluate ourselves in light of the descriptions Peter gives of these and seek to avoid approaching any aspect of our lives in this way.
