The mystery of God's amazing grace is revealed in the life and death of the Lord Jesus Christ - what was only foreshadowed in the Old Testament is clearly fulfilled in the New. The mystery was revealed, not by man, but by God Himself. This is shown strikingly in the conversion of Paul - the persecutor of believers was called to be a witness to the gentiles as God gave him insight into His revelation, so that ALL who believe in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Paul himself was a man transformed by the Gospel - his calling was confirmed by God empowering him to preach the Gospel. Paul considered it a privilege to preach the unsearchable riches in Christ. As believers, we too are sinners saved by grace and called to serve God's call for others to know Him.
