There is a hopelessness in our world as a result of sin. The first man was created perfect and humanity made special - we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Because of the effect of sin and the Fall, mankind has forgotten that we were made with meaning and purpose - we continue to turn our backs on God, believing we can fix our problems on our own, but all in vain. God Himself has a cure, giving us hope in darkness - we need to repent and turn to Christ because it is only in Him that our guilt and shame can be removed.
