God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble - our place of safety, the One who protects us and intervenes when we are in need. Why should we fear when God is with us? - He is always an available and accessible refuge. He is our river of joy and the ruler who brings peace. Believers need to submit themselves to Him - as He has kept His people in the past, He will keep us in the present and the future. He will be that same refuge, joy and peace for ALL those who put their trust in Him.
