Love is primarily an act of obedience more than it is an emotional thing. It is a controller of how I respond, think of and act towards others. How better to prove the Spirit of God in us but by loving? God's loving qualities in us prove His existence to us and His work within us. God's love in us will work its way out in my love towards others, It is this outworking of His Spirit that gives us confidence. An unloving or hateful believer will struggle with doubts because the Spirit of God loves. As a Christian, I want to submit to the opportunities that God gives to express His love through me.
