The world applauds its own and persecutes its dissenters. Those on the side of the world promote the good of man above all else. Much will be done to make Scripture fit the times. This is one of clearest ways to spot truth from error, those who actually 'hear' and reverence God's Word vs. those who do not take God at His Word but change it to fit their own ends. Those of God hear (accept) the teaching of the Apostles.
