Obeying the Lord is not optional for the Christian, it is natural. Sinning does not define the believer, a true Christian cannot be content with sin. One of the reasons we go to church is to be made uncomfortable, being prodded to do what we ought to do. A person's being in Christ will be seen in the life basics, their speech, will and in their love s (what consumes their heart).
