We know we are truly born again by how we consider others. The heart nature of man is to love himself, others are loved only inasmuch as they benefit himself. We will know that we have true love when we would rather be the one suffering than others suffer and when we would rather others be promoted and encouraged than ourselves. True love must give itself for others.
