Introduction Jesus announced to John that He was alive, and He was alive forevermore. Jesus possesses life to the degree that He is life. In Revelation 1:18 He described Himself to John as “the living One.” Jesus once was dead. Once the cold and dark grip of death held Him in its clutches, but Jesus won the victory. Jesus conquered death; He rose again from the dead. Death could not hold Him. Satan could not defeat Him. Jesus came back to life; Jesus won the victory over death. Today, on this glorious Easter Sunday, let us meaningfully and joyfully think together about the resurrection life of Jesus Christ, our living Lord and Savior!
