Introduction Tonight we have the joy as a church to ordain two men as deacons in service of Christ in the role and office of deacon at First Baptist Church of Fenton. My text and message I trust are compatible with the occasion, but I assure you that this message has far broader application than to the ministry of the deacon. These truths on servant hood apply to every Christian, and I shall attempt to show how this is true as we proceed in the sermon tonight.
