Psalm 143:8, 10 “Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul…Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!” I contend that this is a very good text as we face the realities and possibilities of a new year. This is a prayer that surely every child of God can and ought to pray, “Lead me, O Lord.” Let us think on this prayer for divine leadership as we enter into a new year.
