Introduction: This verse of Scripture immediately follows the argument in verses 5-6 where we see that God’s regenerating grace through the Holy Spirit’s work results in life, resurrection life, and victorious life! The life that is manifest in the former rebel is miraculous and awesome. Only God could do this in human heart and life. Thus, this work is a demonstration of surpassing grace, but it is also an extension of divine kindness, and it all results in God’s glory and praise forever and ever. This is the essential message of this passage.
