"Multiplied Mercy" | Jude: Contending for the Faith
Speaker: Jonathan VandenHurk
Sunday Evening, Jude 2, “Multiplied Mercy.” Before describing the terrible time in the last days before the coming of the Lord Jesus, which many have nicknamed, “The Acts of the Apostates,” Jude stops in verse 2 to first pray for his readers: “Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.” The order is important. I could know nothing at all about peace and love unless first I become a recipient of the mercy of God. We all need God’s mercy for salvation for ourselves, and in these perilous times in which we live, we ought to pray every day for God’s mercy to multiplied again to those all around us.
Tonight’s songs are, “Come, Thou Fount,” “I Will Sing of the Mercies,” “At Calvary,” and “Surely Goodness & Mercy.”
