Last week in our tour of the “House of Romans” we stopped in the “Fitting Room” of chapter 6 and learned what an extreme transformation Christ can make! Tonight, we learn there is so much more in “the Bridal Suite” of chapter 7. Although we are bruised and beaten by our former spiritual spouse of sin, he is now dead, and we are free to marry another, the Lord Jesus Christ! Sin was an utter perversion of the law. In our carnality, there is still a great struggle within each of us regarding our former wretched condition.
