Sunday night. Last week in our tour of the “House of Romans” we stopped in the Treasury Storeroom of chapter 5, and saw ten abundant provisions of God for the believer. Now in chapter 6, we make application of those blessings, in what I am calling the Fitting Room. God forbid that we walk right by this gift of God, which God’s grace has provided, and live in sin, yielding our bodies and lives to the old man. Instead put on the new man and reckon your old man to be dead indeed and live in newness of life Christ offers. May we come out of this chapter looking totally different than we did before!
