"THE LOVE OF GOD, ASSURED, Romans 8. Last week in our “tour of the House of Romans” we stopped in “the Bridal Suite” of chapter 7. Because of a keen awareness of the sinful daily struggle within us, we are tempted to feel unworthy so intimately “wed” to Christ. Tonight, in what we are calling the “Family Chapel,” we learn truths about our union with Christ, our adoption into the Family, & God’s Eternal Love, that give us assurance. We thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord for deliverance from our past and the assurance of no condemnation in chapter 8v1. Our new relationship and standing in Christ gives the privilege to live and walk by the Holy Spirit instead of according to the old law of sin and death. Therefore, believers are to live according to the Holy Spirit and not according to the flesh, and live as adopted sons and heirs of God. And although creation, including believers, may suffer greatly now, no suffering can compare with our future glory with Him. And not only this, but believers are in God's plan from start to finish and nothing can change this or separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord!
