"Romans 10, Israel and “the Hearing of the Word of God” Tonight, as we continue in ""The Great Hall of the Hebrews"" (Romans chapters 9-11), we come to chapter 10. As Paul continues to show us around the ruins of the Hall, he shares with us his biggest prayer request, for the salvation of his people. In hardening their hearts and trying to establish their own righteousness, they have humbled and submitted themselves to the righteousness of God, which is of faith. The good news is that God has been speaking to them all the time, and this “word of faith” is “nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart.” Then in verses 9-13, we have the most clear invitation given anywhere in the Bible for everyone to call upon the Lord in faith for salvation. The answer to Paul’s prayer request is for God to then send those who have believed to tell others this wonderful word of the Lord. God is stretching forth His hands to you. Trust in Him today!
