Abstract: Moses was born when the Jewish people lived in Egypt at a time when Pharaoh feared the Jewish people and decided that every male child was to be killed. But Moses parents decided to protect him, so for the first three months he was hidden and then put in the Nile and found by a daughter of Pharaoh and he was brought up as a child of her's. When he killed a slave guard he escaped and became a shepherd. He then got a message from God through a burning bush. God made it clear that Moses was to set the Jews free, which he did. Moses was a weak person with faults like us, but by faith he kept on with his task. Moses' faith was challenged many times, but he didn't give up and asked God for help to do what He required of him.
