Abstract: Faith here is a gift from God, which grows in our hearts. Faith is what enables us to understand the spiritual world. It is also what brings us into a living relationship with God. Once we have formed the relationship it should be obvious in our lives. Enoch is mentioned in Genesis 5 :18, in which his father was mentioned. Enoch lived for 365 years. He lived before the flood. The implication in Genesis is that for his first 65 years, he did not walk with God. But after the birth of his son Methuselah, something turned him around and gave him a new vision of God. The flood actually came in the year of Methuselah's death. After his review of his lifestyle he lived a Godly life, which meant that he suffered challenges from the people around him. Enoch refused to be diverted from following God. Enoch did not face death but was taken into God's presence. Enoch avoided challenges by his faith. If we have faith our walk with God is secure. We need to pray that God will plant the seed of faith in their lives.
