Speaker: Alan Lorrimer-Riley

Abstract: Fruit is something that grows naturally in those in a relationship with God. God's love is individual and helps us to be pleasing to God. There should be fruit seen in our lives. Kindness is often difficult to define. The Greek wod means a positive attitude to other people. Kindness is not a natural human response, it is something Christlike. If we want to show these Fruit, we need to allow God to change us. Kindness is that when we see other people we should want the best for them, placing others before ourselves. Kindness allows us to accept when others are apparently treated better than us. God is kind and treats us in a kind way, none of us has the right to be part of His family. He continues to be kind to us. Kindness is not measured by what we do but how we are. Don't try to do it in your own strength, let God work through you. Loving your neighbour is kindness in action.
