Abstract: Jacob had a difficult life, but was changed after wrestling with God. Also after this his name was changed to Israel. If he had believed God earlier he would have had an easier time. Jacob adopts Manasseh and Ephraim as his sons. Jacob had listened to God and did only what He had told him to do.
