Abstract: The struggle to perfect ourselves is an ongoing thing. The Holy Spirit keeps us on the straight and narrow. If we are in tune with the spirit then we produce the fruit of the spirit. These are: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We are not keeping rules but seeking to repay God's love by doing His will. There is nothing more powerful than God's love. The ultimate symbol of this is Christ on the cross, so we never need to feel uncertain of His love. Things will still go wrong, but in the midst of them we know that there is a reason for them. Love has many positives as shown in 1 Corinthians 13. These always follow us being in the spirit with God's love in us.
