Don't be the cause of a Christian's stumbling/sinning. Better to have certain death than to face the wrathful consequences of God because of causing one of His children to sin. Even indirectly causing them to sin is deserving of this punishment. We should treat our fellow Christians with great caution. Temptations from the world are inevitable but they are not commendable. Sometimes the cause of someone else's sin may occur under a religious guise by someone not addressing a brother's fault because we might offend them. Greatness in the Kingdom is humility, promotion of ourselves has not place in the Kingdom of Heaven.
