P- Priesthood of the Believer The priesthood of the believer means every believer can go to God through the merit of Jesus Christ. Christ is described as the “one mediator between God and men” in 1 Timothy 2:5, which means He alone is the only way to God. As part of the “royal priesthood” mentioned in 1 Peter 2:9, all of us who have trusted Christ as Saviour enjoy the glorious privilege of the priesthood of the believer and can access God through the merits of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, your High Priest who “ever liveth to make intercession” for you (Hebrews 7:25). Tonight we will sing, “Praise Him! Praise Him!” & “What a Friend We Have in Jesus!”
