The people of God has been disobedient in the area of their religious worship, relationships, and bow their resources. They had failed to give back to the Lord in the area of their tithes. He is unchanging and promises never to fail them, but they had failed Him. The issue was not their money. The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart. The main point of this passage is found in verse 7, “Return into me, and I will return to you.” God’s people had not lost their relationship, but their fellowship with God. God wants to restore His blessing upon Him, but first they must restore their fellowship with Him. Ezekiel 34:23-26 Malachi 3:6-12
