Theme: Because the Christian life is very difficult in some ways, and because our flesh is weak and frail, the Christian must learn the power and enablement of divine provision. If we are dealing with the human experience, we must confess that the Christian life is at times very hard. But if we are talking about the power and capability for living the Christian life, we must say that the Christian life is IMPOSSIBLE in human strength. People can only become Christian through the sovereign power of God, and Christians can only live the Christian life because of God’s provisions to His people for the same. Tonight, we will look at God’s provisions to the Christian for sanctification and the living of the Christian life.
