Revelation 12:1-14:20 is a great section of the book dedicated to conflict. This appears as an interlude in that it transitions from the seventh trumpet to the bowls. This section details the church’s experience and involvement in this period of history (end time). Here there is more focus on the unholy trinity (i.e., the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet). These reject and attack God’s plan and people. But in this section there is a three-fold vindication of the saints (14:1-4), the full salvation of the saints (14:6-13), and the final harvest of saints (14:14-16) and sinners (14:17-20).
