1. Ministry is honorable sowing the seed of God’s Word and Truth to people (4:1-2). • The biblical idea of sowing seed (cf., parable of the sower) – The people of God give the Word of God. This message is not man-sourced, man-driven, or man-centered. This message not only does not need man’s approval, the sinful heart will disapprove it, but the Christian must faithfully give the message regardless of how people feel about the message or how they view the message. We should never change the message, modify the message, or seek to make the message palatable for the sake of perceived possible success.
