"Jesus, the Same Yesterday, Today, and Forever" (fbcfenton)
Speaker: Dr. John E. Greever
Expositional Textual Overview: The writer in this chapter covers some practical matters, both moral and pragmatic. He is addressing the truth that Jesus Christ will not forsake us (13:5), that Jesus is our helper; therefore, we should not be afraid. The Bible is trying to get the Christian reader to put faith in Jesus Christ as it pertains to the real and practical matters of life. Our faith in Jesus has a vibrancy to it that should cast aside our fears and worries. In verse 8, the Bible tells us that we can trust in Jesus and follow Jesus as the absolute certainty and unchangeable reality of life.
