This story has always been a touching story to me. I am sure that in some ways, we all identify with this woman. She was doing something that was totally right, but it was totally misunderstood by many around her. Not only was she misunderstood, but she was also hurt by the response of some watching her. There is no lonelier position in the world than to be doing God’s work in ways that please the Lord and be criticized by people for doing it. Let us take some time to ponder together some relevant issues in this matter.
