Introduction: The greatest chapter in the Bible on the resurrection of Jesus Christ, pertaining to its meaning to life, is 1 Corinthians 15. In verses 1-11 the chapter argues with great and compelling force that Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the grave is a historical fact. In verses 12-34 the Bible presents the relevancy of the resurrection of Christ in terms of the certainty it gives to the resurrection of Christians. Then in verses 35-58 the Bible forcefully presents the application and significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in human experience. There is no other biblical passage comparable to this one to present clearly and logically the fact of Christ’s resurrection and its meaning for Christians.
