When someone says they don’t need Church to be a Christian, essentially, they’re saying they don’t need Christ to be a Christian. (I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.) Whatever you say to someone who is baptized into Christ you’re saying it to Christ himself. We need each other because Jesus works through the people He places in our lives. They are His hands and feet. Therefore, we need the church because we need our brothers and sisters in Christ.
