As we hear the Gospel and what Jesus did for us, and as we meditate on how God lavished His love upon us in Christ, the ability to love as Christ loves us is nurtured and grows within us like fruit. The fruit of the Spirit is the result of the Holy Spirit applying the finished work of Christ to our hearts and lives. It’s His WORK! Not ours. Remember, nothing good dwells in us.
