Jesus wasn’t born in the 1940’s. The church didn’t begin when you and I joined it. We’re not reinventing the wheel! The issues we face today have already been dealt with time and time again throughout the history of the church. But rather than to pay attention to what’s been handed down to us in Scripture, in the Creeds, and in the confessions, many of us are trying to reinvent the wheel. It’s not only unnecessary, its deadly.
