"It is Resurrection Sunday morning! The devil and all enemies of Christianity make the Resurrection of Christ the chief aim of their attacks, because that is the heart of Christianity. The eyewitness evidence is clear. Jesus died and was buried; He rose and was seen. The Bible teaches it emphatically; the enemies of Christ could not deny it; the early church preached it with utter conviction; our job is to preach it to every creature. If it did not happen, we have no ground for our faith and it is entirely futile; we are still in our sins; we have no hope of seeing our loved ones who died believing ever again; and we are absolutely hopeless, and in the words of Scripture “most miserable.” BUT Christ IS risen from the dead, and He is risen indeed!
