What We Believe As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we believe in the basic principles of Martin Luther's theological teachings. We believe: We are saved by the grace of God alone. We are not saved by anything that we do. Our salvation is through faith alone. Confidently trust God, who in Christ promises us forgiveness, life and salvation. The Bible is the norm for faith and life. Our Vision To be a community where everyone knows Christ's Love and shares Christ's Love with all people. Our Mission Christ works through us as we: Welcome all people to grow in faith, love and devotion, Share Christ through word and deed, Care for others and the world God made, and Work for justice and peace.
November 2, 2025: “Building a Sacred Space”
Sanctuary is more than a building; it’s an experience of God’s presence. From sacred places in Scripture to the call for justice and refuge in our world today, we’ll explore how sanctuary becomes both a spiritual shelter and a launching pad for mission. It’s where we meet God, find rest, and are sent out to be a sanctuary for others.
For Today: When Jacob encountered God in a dream, he woke up to the realization that “Surely the Lord is in this place.” Holy ground begins here—and extends far beyond.
