Word of Peace Lutheran Church
What We Believe As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we believe in the basic principles of Martin Luther's theological teachings. We believe: We are saved by the grace of God alone. We are not saved by anything that we do. Our salvation is through faith alone. Confidently trust God, who in Christ promises us forgiveness, life and salvation. The Bible is the norm for faith and life. Our Vision To be a community where everyone knows Christ's Love and shares Christ's Love with all people. Our Mission Christ works through us as we: Welcome all people to grow in faith, love and devotion, Share Christ through word and deed, Care for others and the world God made, and Work for justice and peace.
July 20, 2025 - “Stop and Listen”
For Today: Serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is important business, but the story about Mary and Martha also shows us that those who would serve must also sit and learn.
Bible Readings: Luke 10: 38-42
