What We Believe As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we believe in the basic principles of Martin Luther's theological teachings. We believe: We are saved by the grace of God alone. We are not saved by anything that we do. Our salvation is through faith alone. Confidently trust God, who in Christ promises us forgiveness, life and salvation. The Bible is the norm for faith and life. Our Vision To be a community where everyone knows Christ's Love and shares Christ's Love with all people. Our Mission Christ works through us as we: Welcome all people to grow in faith, love and devotion, Share Christ through word and deed, Care for others and the world God made, and Work for justice and peace.

March 16, 2025 - "The Disabled and Sick" (Traditional)

• Mar 16, 2025
Most of us have at some point felt like a nobody—insignificant, invisible, worthless. The gospel of Luke is a first-century portrait of Jesus with a particular focus on his ministry with those who were considered nobodies. This Lent, join us as we read through the gospel of Luke together. Each week, we’ll turn our attention to specific stories that illustrate Jesus’ concern for those who were marginalized by society. And as we do, we’ll hear his word for our lives today. For Today: Jesus’ healing ministry reveals God’s deep care for those who are physically suffering and socially marginalized. The story of the leper’s healing shows that no one is beyond the reach of Christ’s compassion and restoration Bible Readings: Luke 5:12-15 Pastor Rick - "The Disabled and Sick" For more information about upcoming events and announcements: wordofpeace.org/announcements Support the ministry of Word of Peace: wordofpeace.org/give
