As the people of Israel were bringing the Ark of the Covenant back to Israel, David led the front of the parade after calling on the people to give thanks to the LORD. We see a picture of a jubilant worship procession as the people play loudly on the instruments, are dancing and singing praises to their LORD. It is with this backdrop that David gave the command for the people to give thanks to the Lord because of who He is and what He has done. Today, we as the people of God have much to be thankful for and we too should worship God jubilantly with praise, worship and thanksgiving!
