The Church at Pergamum was a church that had become willing to compromise their faith. Jesus assured them that He was fully aware of where they were dwelling, and commence them of being faithful even while seeing Antipas martyred before them. However, He reprimanded them for some who were compromising their faith and following the practices of Balaam and the Nicolaitans. His call was for them to repent and return to Him. This study begs the question, "Are we compromising our faith for the things of the world in the church today?"
