-The Gains of Knowing Christ- The Apostle Paul was repulsed by what he used to love and live for. He had experienced the 'loss' of these life-drainers that would have cost him a truly fulfilled life. Once he saw them as ''profit-robbers' losing them was a relief. As Christians we get to know Christ and this should be our constant joy. Because of the great salvation our Lord has given us we are free to live FOR God, not constantly trying merely to get TO God. We should desire to know our Savior.
