Titus chapter 1 sees the apostle Paul give advice to a young pastor named Titus who was pastoring churches in Crete in the face of many challenges. Similar to what we saw in 1st and 2nd Timothy, Paul advises Titus about the proper running of a local church and particularly provides a timeless warning against false doctrine, false teachers and troublemakers in the church. The like timeless admonition for us today is to 'hold fast the faithful word'.
