The Apostle Paul tells the Philippians about the benefits of his being imprisoned. God's method brought Paul to the right place to minister to the right people at the right time. Paul was encouraged because what had happened to him was promoting the spread of the Gospel. Sometimes God will put us in a curious situation and even let us be a spectacle to shine for the Gospel (and we don't even have to know that this is happening). We should each of us be prepared to stand firm amidst the intimidations of the intimidators of the age in which we live.
