(Children's Message and Sermon from the 9:00 Sunday Service.) The beginning of the end – that’s what today marks. And with an end in sight, it’s important to get prepared. That’s why our readings today point to the end times. You see, the theme of these weeks before Advent and Christmas. We are getting for the end – THE end – judgment day, the day the Lord comes back and judges mankind. On that day Jesus will send some to hell and some to heaven. Are you ready? As the due date of Judgment Day marches closer, have no fear little flock. While you may experience the birth pains on this earth, the joy of heaven awaits. That’s how we like it, don’t we? We look forward to a healthy, happy delivery – to heaven that is!
