All is ready. The announcement has been made…wedding clothes purchased…the love of the groom for His bride is faithful and true…a new name is ready…the reception-the marriage feast in heaven is prepared…now all we need is for the bride to show up. This day, by faith, receive God’s gracious invitation – receive what God has prepared for all who love Him – receive the storybook wedding of the ages, the real “happily ever after.” Yes, it’s going to be an amazing wedding for those in Christ. The angels will be there. The saints who have gone before will be there too. Most importantly, the Lamb will be there too, Jesus, our bridegroom. So close your eyes and dream of the wedding to come. Look to the day Christ will call to you – Hephzibah-My Delight. For in Christ you are His delight and in the Church His bride forever.
