(Note-Children's Message and Sermon from the 9:00 service.) Jesus said over and over that he must die and rise from the dead. This he would do bodily, physically, really. Not to comprehend this is not to know Jesus at all—to be deaf, dumb, and blind to him, even if he is standing right in front of you (Luke 24:41). So, Jesus teaches (Luke 24:8), teaches (24:32), and teaches (24:45). He teaches by eating with them (24:43) and sending them out to proclaim repentance for the forgiveness of sins (24:47).
